iPhone 18 Pro Max: Variable Aperture and 6x Zoom
Apple is expected to reveal new iPhones at an event on September 9.
Reports say the iPhone 18 Pro Max might have a camera with a variable aperture.
This means the camera could open or close to control how much light enters.
It might help with darker photos and with making the background look more or less blurry.
Some reports say this feature could be used only by the front-facing camera.
The Pro Max may also have a 6x optical zoom for photographing faraway subjects.
These upgrades could make the Pro Max more appealing to people who enjoy photography.
Apple has not confirmed the phone’s specifications, so the reports may not become real features.
Leaks suggest the iPhone 18 Pro Max could introduce a variable-aperture camera, potentially exclusive to that model.
MacRumors reportedly says the variable aperture may apply specifically to the Pro Max’s front-facing camera.
The feature could improve light control, low-light photography, depth of field, and background blur.
The Pro Max is also rumored to include a telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 series on September 9, but the camera details remain unconfirmed.
