Russia Accepts Taliban's Ambassador Nominee to Moscow
Russia is starting to become friends with the Taliban, the people who are now in charge of Afghanistan.
Russia has said that it's okay with the Taliban sending someone to be their representative in Moscow.
Even though no country has fully said the Taliban is the official government, this move shows that Russia wants to work together.
China also did a similar thing last year, and Pakistan is planning to do so too.
This is a sign of these countries getting closer, hopefully to work together and help each other.
Russia accepted the Taliban's nomination of an ambassador to Moscow.
This signals growing economic and political ties between Russia and Afghanistan.
Russia suspended its ban on the Taliban in April.
No country has formally recognized the Taliban's government, as of June 2025.
China and Pakistan have also taken steps toward diplomatic recognition.
