PFRDA extends NPS same-day investment cut-off time to 1:30 pm
NPS subscribers now have more time to secure the same day’s NAV — here's what the change means for you · livemint.com

The National Pension System, or NPS, is a savings plan in India that helps people build money for their retirement.

When people put money into NPS, the money gets invested and has a daily value called the NAV.

Before, money that arrived after 11 am was invested on the next business day.

Now, the cut-off time has been moved to 1:30 pm.

This gives people two and a half extra hours to contribute and still get the same day's NAV.

The new rule applies to all ways of contributing, including online payments, UPI, and bank offices.

People who pay later in the day now have a better chance of getting that day's investment value.

The rule makers say this will make the system faster and more efficient for everyone.
