BITS Pilani and USC Collaborate on AI and Quantum Research
BITS Pilani in India and the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California are teaming up.
They signed an agreement on June 5th to work together on smart computer stuff, data, and new tech like quantum computing.
Students can study at both schools, and professors will teach together.
This means students from BITS can go to USC for their master's degrees faster, and USC students will visit BITS to learn.
The goal is to share ideas and make new discoveries in important areas like AI.
BITS Pilani and USC Viterbi signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The collaboration focuses on research in AI, data science, quantum computing, and sustainable engineering.
An integrated degree program will allow BITS Pilani undergraduates to enter USC's MS program early.
Faculty from both universities will participate in joint seminars and research.
USC students will visit BITS Pilani campuses for academic and cultural experiences.
