Producer Thomas Protests KFPA with Burqa at Nomination

Sandra Thomas, a film producer, wore a burqa to file her nomination for president of the Kerala Film Producers’ Association.

This was a protest against the association she describes as 'male-dominated.'

Thomas is also protesting the current leaders of KFPA, who she says haven't properly addressed harassment allegations.

She has previously been in conflict with the association, including being expelled.

She alleges that the current leaders are monopolizing the association and are not helping struggling producers.
