Russia Launches First T10 League to Develop Cricket Talent
Russia is starting its first organized domestic cricket league.
The competition uses T10 cricket, so each team gets 10 overs to bat.
Four teams will play seven matches over two days.
The games will happen at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on September 19 and 20, 2026.
Sixty cricketers will take part.
Russian players, expatriates, and members of the South Asian diaspora can compete together.
Organizers want to find and train more Russian players.
They also hope the league will make cricket more popular and help Russia compete internationally.
