Haryana to Implement Agristack, Farmer Registry, Census Plans
Haryana is working on modernizing how it manages data and records.
They're setting up a training center to teach revenue officials new skills.
They plan to use new technology for farming, like surveys and tracking farmers, starting with test runs in a few villages.
Also, they're getting ready for a population count, with practice runs in a few cities in late 2025, followed by the main count in 2027.
Haryana will establish a Revenue Training Institute for revenue officials.
The institute will be built on approximately 20 acres of land.
Agristack-based crop surveys and farmer registries will be implemented.
A pilot project for crop surveys will start in one village per tehsil.
Pilot census operations are planned for October-November 2025.
