Thousands crowd HYDRAA driver recruitment at Hyderabad's Saroornagar Stadium

A city agency called HYDRAA announced it needed 150 drivers.
On Saturday, thousands of job seekers showed up at Saroornagar Stadium in Hyderabad.
There were many more people than the number of jobs.
The crowd became so big and pushy that it felt like a stampede could happen.
Police officers had to come and calm everyone down.
Some police used batons to control the unruly crowd.
Job seekers were upset because they had to stand in long lines with no drinking water.
Officials then gave people tokens with a time to come back so they could manage the crowd.
The recruitment tests continued on Sunday, August 9.

The 150 contract-based posts comprise 100 DRF Assistant vacancies and 50 Heavy Vehicle Driver vacancies.

Candidates complained of standing in long queues with no drinking water or proper waiting facilities at the venue.
Officials introduced a token system, asking candidates to return on the day and time mentioned on their tokens.
