Vance says Iran negotiations will be messy, take time

The Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance, talked about peace talks with a country called Iran.

He said the talks will not be easy, calling them 'messy' and saying they will take a long time.

Iran's leaders do not all agree with each other.

Some want the fighting to stop, but others want it to keep going.

Vance said the US will use its military, money, and diplomacy to reach a good outcome.

He predicted that oil prices, which were around $79, will go down and stay down.

He also said Iran should never get a nuclear weapon.

President Donald Trump said a lot of progress has been made and that Iran asked to talk.

The talks come after fighting paused following the collapse of an earlier agreement.
