Postal department sets special Rakhi counters at 34 Delhi post offices
Raksha Bandhan is a festival where brothers and sisters show love for each other.
This year it happens on August 28, 2026.
Many people send special gifts called Rakhis in the mail.
To help delivered on time, the postal department of Delhi set up special counters.
These counters are at 34 big post offices and two railway stations.
They want people to send their Rakhis early.
People can use special fast mail services called SPEED POST.
If the mail is late, there is a money back guarantee.
This helps families get their Rakhis before the festival day.
The Department of Posts in the Delhi Circle set up special Rakhi counters at 34 major post offices along with Delhi Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station.
Customers are urged to post items early or use 24 SPEED POST and 48 SPEED POST services for secure, time-bound delivery of Rakhi consignments.
These SPEED POST services offer guaranteed delivery standards with a Money Back Guarantee in the event of delay.
Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on August 28, 2026, and special arrangements for posting Rakhi mails run up to August 22, 2026.
The 24 SPEED POST service is exclusively available at 35 designated booking locations for delivery to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
