Nagaland Commission Briefs Governor on Digital Recruitment Reforms

Nagaland Commission Briefs Governor on Digital Recruitment Reforms

The Nagaland Public Service Commission conducts examinations for government jobs.

Its team met Governor Nand Kishore Yadav to explain its work.

Many people applied for the civil services and allied services examination.

There were 16,433 applications during 2025-26.

The large number of applicants has made it harder to find enough examination centres.

The commission also needs more staff and larger facilities.

It has moved toward paperless recruitment by using DigiLocker and eSign.

It changed some examinations to test analysis, general knowledge and administrative skills more strongly.

The commission plans to improve online applications and build a new examination hall.
