India Blasts Pakistan Over 'Political Absurdity' of Youm-e-Istehsal
India and Pakistan are two neighboring countries that both care a lot about a region called Kashmir.
India says Kashmir belongs to India.
Pakistan held a special day about Kashmir, which India did not like.
India's spokesperson said the day was a political absurdity and full of falsehoods.
He said Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will always be part of India.
He also said the changes India made in 2019 are India's own business.
Pakistan, he said, has no right to comment.
India told Pakistan to stop hurting people in the part of Kashmir that Pakistan controls.
India also asked Pakistan to stop helping terror groups and to give back Indian land.
India said the world is not fooled by Pakistan's shows.
India rejected Pakistan's observance of 'Youm-e-Istehsal' as a political absurdity and a futile exercise spreading malicious propaganda.
MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are, and shall forever remain, an integral and inalienable part of India.
India called the August 5, 2019 constitutional changes a purely internal matter that brought socio-economic development and democratic empowerment.
India accused Pakistan of trying to deflect attention from its human rights record and its status as the global epicentre of terrorism.
India urged Pakistan to stop bloodshed in PoJK, act against terror networks on its soil, and vacate Indian territories under illegal occupation.
