Bangladesh Envoy Visits Tripura for Infrastructure Inspection

The Bangladesh High Commissioner to India, M. Riaz Hamidullah, spent three days in Tripura.

He met with the state's Governor and Chief Minister.

He checked out the Agartala Integrated Check Post and the Akhaura Land Port.

He also plans to look at the Nischintapur railway station, which is part of a rail link.

Additionally, he went to Sabroom to see the Maitri Setu, a bridge connecting India and Bangladesh.

The visit included talks about infrastructure projects and cross-border connections.
