Punjab Revokes Land Use Permission Due to Fake Documents
The Punjab government has taken action against a real estate company called Sunny Lovely Developers.
The company had been given permission to change how they use some land, but it turns out they used fake documents to get this permission.
A woman complained that her land was included in the project without her permission.
As a result, the government is taking back some of the permission they gave the company.
This means the company can't develop the land in the way they planned, at least not until the issues are resolved.
Punjab revoked Change of Land Use (CLU) permission for Sunny Lovely Developers.
The revocation followed a complaint about fraudulent documents.
Fake consent letters and a bank NOC were allegedly submitted.
The company aimed to develop an industrial colony on 56.5375 acres.
Surinder Kaur, the complainant, alleged her land was included improperly.
