Gurugram Faces 48-Hour Water Shutdown
Gurugram will have no water supply for two days starting December 3 at 11:00 AM until December 5 at 11:00 AM.
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is doing important work on the water pipes.
This work includes fixing a big pipe and checking the water treatment plant.
Many areas in Gurugram, like Sector 37 and some villages, will not have water during this time.
People living in these areas are asked to save and store water from December 1 to 4.
This is to make sure they have enough water while the work is being done.
Gurugram will experience a 48-hour water supply shutdown from December 3, 11:00 AM to December 5, 11:00 AM.
The shutdown is for pipeline connection and maintenance works, including connecting a new 1,600 mm pipeline and repairing the existing main line.
Affected areas include Sector 37, Sectors 42 to 74, Badshahpur, and Khandsa villages.
Residents are advised to store and conserve water from December 1 to 4.
The work also includes preventive checks at the Chandu Budhera Water Treatment Plant.
