The trilogy includes The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.

Peter Jackson recorded new intros for each movie, and there were special popcorn buckets to celebrate.

The movies were so popular that more showtimes and locations were added.

There's also a new movie coming in 2027 called The Hunt for Gollum, directed by Andy Serkis.

Some of the original actors, like Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood, are coming back for this new film.
