Mock Drill on Fire, Rescue, and Bomb Safety at Tenali Railway Station
Imagine a fire starts at the train station or someone finds a suspicious package.
To make sure everyone knows what to do, railway workers and helpers did a practice run.
They pretended to put out fires, help people who might get hurt, and talked about how to stay safe if there's a bomb scare.
This helps the workers be ready for real emergencies and teaches students and passengers how to be safe too.
They practiced on a train platform so they could get ready for anything that might happen.
A mock drill for fire safety, rescue, and bomb awareness was conducted at Tenali Railway Station.
The exercise included practicing firefighting techniques, ground rescue, and Basic Life Support (BLS) like CPR.
The drill aimed to enhance the preparedness of railway staff and safety awareness among students and passengers.
Officials emphasized that safety is a collective responsibility and regular drills ensure readiness for emergencies.
The event was organized by the South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division, in collaboration with the Civil Defence Organisation.
