A workshop in Indore taught small businesses how workers can save for retirement through the National Pension System.

PFRDA official Abhishek Dhiman said NPS may help employees have money and dignity after they stop working.

Industry representatives encouraged employers to support regular contributions.

Pension fund representatives explained how to register and what benefits are available.

In a separate case, DRI officers stopped a bus passenger at a toll plaza.

They found four packets containing a substance that tested positive for amphetamine.

The packets weighed 2,067 grams including their packaging and were valued at about Rs 1.6 crore.
