Tahir Hussain Challenges Life Term in IB Officer Murder Case

Tahir Hussain Challenges Life Term in IB Officer Murder Case

Tahir Hussain was convicted and given a life sentence in a case involving the murder of an Intelligence Bureau officer.

He is now challenging that sentence.

Hussain says the first police report, called an FIR, was prepared with incorrect dates and times.

He also says the complaint behind it was fabricated.

He argues that the early investigation had serious problems.

He says there was not enough investigation before the FIR reached the local police station.

These arguments were also made during the trial.

The court recorded and examined them before making its decision.
