Bolsonaro Ordered to Pay Damages for Racist Comments
A Brazilian court has told former President Jair Bolsonaro to pay a fine.
This is because of some jokes he made that were considered racist.
In May 2021, he made a comment about a Black supporter's hair, comparing it to a 'cockroach breeding ground'.
The court decided these comments caused harm to people.
Bolsonaro now has to pay 1 million reais, which is about $188,865.
Former President Jair Bolsonaro was ordered to pay damages.
