Chandigarh Publishes Final Electoral Roll After Special Intensive Revision
Chandigarh checked its voter list through a process called Special Intensive Revision.
The final list has 4,60,209 voters.
This includes men, women and transgender voters.
Officials added 15,117 voters and removed 5,190 entries.
The list grew by 9,927 voters compared with the draft list.
Officials checked documents, claims and objections before making decisions.
Some entries were removed because people were absent, had moved, had died or appeared more than once.
People can check the final list at election offices or online.
The list uses July 1, 2026, as its qualifying date.
The final Chandigarh electoral roll lists 4,60,209 electors as of July 1, 2026.
The roll includes 2,34,516 male, 2,25,671 female and 22 transgender electors.
The revision added 15,117 electors and deleted 5,190, producing a net increase of 9,927.
