India Rejects Epstein Files Mentioning PM Modi
The Indian government has said that some papers about Jeffrey Epstein, a man who did bad things, mentioned the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The papers said that Mr. Modi took advice from Epstein and danced and sang in Israel for the former US President, Donald Trump.
But the Indian government said this is not true.
They said that Mr. Modi did visit Israel in 2017, but the other things said in the papers are not true and should be ignored.
A man named Pawan Khera, who is in the Congress party, asked Mr. Modi to explain these things, but the government said there is nothing to explain.
PM Narendra Modi's name appeared in newly released Epstein files, mentioning his 2017 visit to Israel and alleged advice from Epstein.
The Indian government dismissed the claims as 'trashy ruminations' by a convicted criminal and denied any impropriety.
Congress leader Pawan Khera demanded clarification from PM Modi regarding the email's content and his association with Epstein.
The email suggested PM Modi 'danced and sang' in Israel for Donald Trump, which the government denied as illogical and false.
The US Department of Justice released over three million pages of documents, including emails, videos, and images related to Epstein's case.
