CJP Threatens October 2 Protest Over Gyanesh Kumar

CJP is a youth-led political movement in India.

It became known after a social-media response to remarks involving the word “cockroach.”

The movement later expanded into protests about issues affecting young people.

On September 24, CJP held a press conference about Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

It asked him to resign from his position.

CJP gave him 48 hours to leave.

The group said it would start protests on October 2 if he stayed in office.

CJP also runs a campaign called “School Thik Karo” about problems in government schools.
