CSMT Traffic Drops 30% After Mumbai Metro Line 3
The Mumbai Metro Line 3, also called the Aqua Line, has started running all the way from Aarey to Cuffe Parade.
Since it started, there are fewer cars and buses on the roads near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).
The traffic has gone down by 30%.
More people are using the metro instead of buses or taxis.
The metro is also affordable, with fares starting at just Rs 10.
In October, about 1.41 lakh people used the metro every day, and the busiest day was October 16 with 1.82 lakh passengers.
This has made traveling to places like Girgaon, Mahalaxmi, and Cuffe Parade much easier and faster.

The fares for Metro Line 3 are affordable, ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 70 for a one-way journey.
