JSW MG Unveils Hector Tomahawk EV, PHEV Models

JSW MG Motor India showed a new SUV called the Hector Tomahawk.

It is the first vehicle made using the company’s new ADAPT platform.

People can buy it as a fully electric vehicle or as a plug-in hybrid.

The electric version can carry five or seven people and has a claimed range of 517 kilometres.

The plug-in hybrid can drive using electricity, petrol, or both together.

MG says the plug-in hybrid can travel more than 1,100 kilometres with a full tank and charged battery.

Buyers can pay less upfront through a battery-rental plan called Battery-as-a-Service.

The electric model starts at Rs 13.99 lakh under this plan, while the plug-in hybrid starts at Rs 21.79 lakh.

Bookings for the plug-in hybrid are open, and deliveries are scheduled to start in November.
