RVNL, Sun TV, Mahanagar Gas turn ex-dividend on August 18
Some companies share a little bit of their profits with the people who own their shares.
That money is called a dividend.
Three companies in India are giving dividends soon.
They are Rail Vikas Nigam, Sun TV Network, and Mahanagar Gas.
To get the money, people must own the shares by August 18.
That date is called the record date.
Rail Vikas Nigam wants to give 71 paise for each share.
Sun TV wants to give 5 rupees for each share.
Mahanagar Gas wants to give 18 rupees for each share.
Some of these payments still need to be approved by shareholders at meetings on August 25.

RVNL has proposed a final dividend of Rs 0.71 per share, subject to approval at its August 25 annual general meeting.
Sun TV Network approved an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share, its first dividend payout for FY27.
Mahanagar Gas recommended a final dividend of Rs 18 per share, pending shareholder approval at its August 25 AGM.
Investors must hold shares before the end of the August 18 trade to be eligible for the dividend payouts.
