Delhi High Court Protects Tabu's Personality Rights, Removes 150 URLs
Tabu is a famous movie actress in India.
A big court in Delhi called the Delhi High Court said that she has 'personality rights.'
Personality rights mean that other people cannot use a person's name or face without permission.
The court found many online links that used Tabu's name or image without permission.
It ordered websites like X, eBay, and Reddit to remove more than 150 of those links.
The websites had to do this within 36 hours.
The court also told Google, Meta, X, Reddit, and GoDaddy to share information about who created the links.
That way, Tabu can find out who was using her name without asking.
Removing these links protects her from people who misuse celebrities' names.
The Delhi High Court protected actor Tabu's personality rights and ordered the takedown of over 150 URLs.
X Corp. was directed to take down three identified URLs.
eBay Inc. was directed to remove URLs at serial numbers 15 to 20 in Document-C.
Reddit Inc. was directed to take down specified URLs within the same 36-hour period.
The Court ordered Google, Meta, X, Reddit and GoDaddy to disclose basic subscriber information and IP log details to Tabu.
