Man kills 17-year-old niece over rejected proposal
A 17-year-old girl named Pavitra was sadly killed by her uncle in her home in Hyderabad.
The uncle, named Dukka Uma Shanker, was upset because Pavitra had rejected his proposal to marry her.
They had an argument, and during the fight, the uncle took out a knife and hurt Pavitra badly on her throat.
She died right there.
The uncle ran away, but the police found him near a temple and arrested him.
The police also watched videos from cameras to find out what happened.
The uncle admitted that he brought the knife with him to kill Pavitra.
