Rams Sign Veteran Linebacker Eric Kendricks to Practice Squad
The Los Angeles Rams signed Eric Kendricks to their practice squad.
That means he can practice with the team, but he is not automatically playing in the next game.
The Rams could bring him up for a game or later add him to their main roster.
Kendricks played for the San Francisco 49ers late in 2025.
He started both of their postseason games and made 19 tackles in them.
He has also played for several other teams during his career.
The Rams have had some concerns about their linebackers’ health and readiness.
The team hopes Kendricks can provide experienced help.
The Los Angeles Rams signed linebacker Eric Kendricks to their practice squad on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old has been a free agent throughout the 2026 season; the signing alone does not place him on the game-day roster.
Kendricks played three regular-season games for the San Francisco 49ers in 2025, then started both of their postseason games.
In those two playoff games, he recorded 19 tackles, including three tackles for loss.
The Rams are 2-2 and have had linebacker availability concerns, including a shoulder problem for Nate Landman.
