Jharkhand Students Warn of Mass Movement as Protest Intensifies

In a place called Jharkhand, many students are very upset because they believe something went wrong during the exams that decide who gets government jobs.

They want those exams to be cancelled and a fair investigation to be done.

A leader named Devendra Nath Mahto is on a hunger strike, which means he is not eating, to show how serious he is.

He has not eaten for 11 days and is now in the hospital, but he still wants to continue his protest.

About 50,000 students walked together to the Assembly building to ask the government to listen to them.

The police tried to stop the crowd using water cannons, tear gas, and batons.

Some students and even reporters were reportedly hurt, which made everyone very angry.

The students are now saying that if their demands are not met, a much bigger movement will start.

They have also said they are still ready to talk politely with the government so the problem can be solved.
