UP Aims to Create Crorepati Didis
The Uttar Pradesh government wants to help women entrepreneurs earn more money.
They already have a program called Lakhpati Didi, which helps women earn at least ₹1 lakh per year.
Now, they want to make these women even more successful by turning them into Crorepati Didis, which means they earn ₹1 crore or more.
The government plans to train these women, help them find markets for their products, and support their businesses.
This will help families earn more money, make rural areas stronger, and inspire more women to start their own businesses.
Uttar Pradesh government aims to transform Lakhpati Didis into Crorepati Didis.
Target is to have at least 100 Crorepati Didis in every district.
Building on the success of the Lakhpati Didi initiative, which has helped 18 lakh women.
Focus on self-help groups, enterprise development, skills training, and market access.
Objective is to boost rural economy, women's leadership, and inclusive growth.
