BTC: Final Electoral Rolls Out, Elections Planned
The final list of voters for the upcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections in Assam has been released.
This list, called the electoral roll, includes 26,58,477 voters.
Voters can check their names using their voter ID or online.
The elections will take place in 40 different areas, and there will be around 3,279 places to vote.
People who are eligible to vote can still register until the last day to file their nominations.
The election commission also included new villages within the BTR after a delimitation process.
Final electoral rolls for the 40 constituencies of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) have been published.
The total electorate is 26,58,477.
There are 13,23,673 male voters, 13,34,787 female voters, and 17 categorized as 'others'.
3,279 polling stations are proposed, subject to change.
Electors can check their names using their EPIC number or the Online Electoral Roll Management System (OERMS) website.
