Shivakumar to Fight FIR in Court
D.K. Shivakumar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, is facing legal trouble.
The Delhi Police have filed a case against him, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also charged him.
This is all about money he donated to a newspaper called National Herald.
Shivakumar says he has done nothing wrong and will fight the case in court.
He believes the government is just trying to harass him.
His brother has also been summoned by the ED.
The BJP, the ruling party, says Shivakumar should cooperate with the investigation.
But the Congress party, which Shivakumar is part of, says the BJP is just trying to distract from their own problems by targeting Congress leaders.
Delhi Police registered an FIR against D.K. Shivakumar over donations to National Herald.
ED has charged Shivakumar and summoned him and his brother D.K. Suresh.
Shivakumar claims the actions are harassment and vows to fight the case in court.
BJP urges Shivakumar to cooperate with the investigation.
Congress alleges the BJP is using these notices to distract from governance issues.
