Uttarakhand HC Orders Revision of Draftsman Selection List
The Uttarakhand High Court has told the Public Service Commission to change the list of people chosen for Draftsman jobs.
A man named Prakash from Chamoli said the list was not fair because it had different rules for different people, and no one with an ITI certificate, like him, was chosen.
The court said the Urban Development Department should follow the rules for ITI certificate and diploma holders.
The jobs were first advertised in 2021, but because of problems, a new list was made in 2023.
The test was in November 2023, and the results came out in December 2023.
Prakash challenged the final list made in January 2025.

The petitioner, Prakash from Chamoli, challenged the selection list issued on January 8, 2025, alleging separate cut-offs and no ITI-qualified candidates were selected.
The initial advertisement for the posts was issued in 2021, and the recruitment process was later handed over to the Public Service Commission.
The written examination was conducted on November 5, 2023, and the results were declared on December 21, 2023.
Selected candidates, including Lalit Mohan Pandey and 32 others, applied to be impleaded in the case.
