Prosecutors Say Engraved Bullet Shows Charlie Kirk Targeting

Prosecutors say Charlie Kirk was killed because the accused viewed his politics negatively.

They point to words engraved on a bullet found in the suspected murder weapon.

They also cite a message allegedly written by Tyler Robinson about Kirk’s “hatred.”

Robinson is charged with aggravated murder and has not yet entered a plea.

Prosecutors want the court to consider political targeting as a reason for a possible death sentence.

They also say many people at the event could have been endangered.

Robinson’s lawyers say some of the evidence is not strong or reliable enough.

A judge will decide on September 1 whether the case should go to trial.
