Happiest Minds Q2 Revenue Grows 10% YoY, Driven by AI and New Clients
Happiest Minds, a company that helps other businesses with technology, has announced its results for the last three months.
They made 10% more money than they did last year, which is good!
This success comes from their new focus on 'smart' computer programs, called Artificial Intelligence (AI), and getting new customers.
The boss is excited because they think they can keep growing a lot for the next four years.
They even have special teams working on AI that have already created many useful projects for clients, potentially making them a lot of money.
They also added 13 new companies to their list of clients in just three months.
However, while they made more money overall compared to last year, the profit they made in the last three months was a little less than the three months before that.
They also have a growing team of employees.
Happiest Minds reported Q2 revenue of ₹573 crore, a 10% year-on-year increase and a 4.3% sequential rise.
Profit after tax (PAT) was ₹54.02 crore, up 9.1% year-on-year but down 5.4% sequentially.
The company added 13 new clients in Q2, bringing the total client base to 290.
Chairman Ashok Soota cited Generative AI Business Unit (GBS) and Net New (NN) account expansion as key growth drivers, expecting four years of double-digit growth.
Co-Chairman & CEO Joseph Anantharaju highlighted AI success with 22 use cases progressing to projects and a strong pipeline for Net New accounts.
