Tourism Malaysia Launches Four-Month Campaign to Attract Indian Travellers

Tourism Malaysia and travel company Scapia have started a four-month campaign in Mumbai.

They want more people from India to visit Malaysia.

The campaign will introduce places such as Sabah, Sarawak, Penang, Melaka and Langkawi.

It will show visitors the country’s culture, nature and adventure activities.

Malaysia’s Consul General said Indian travellers are looking beyond familiar trips.

Scapia reported that bookings for flights and hotels to Malaysia have grown through its platform.

Malaysia recorded 962,983 visitors from India from January to August 2026.

The campaign also offers rewards and deals on flights, stays and experiences, according to Scapia.
