Haryana Expands Chirayu-Ayushman Bharat Scheme to More Families
Haryana is letting more families join its health-care scheme.
Families with annual incomes above Rs 1.80 lakh can participate by paying a yearly fee.
The fee depends on how much a family earns.
It ranges from Rs 1,500 to Rs 5,000 per year.
Eligible families can get cashless treatment worth up to Rs 5 lakh a year at participating hospitals.
People can register and pay until November 30, 2026.
The new coverage period lasts from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027.
The state says more than 40 lakh beneficiaries have already received treatment through the schemes.
Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced an expansion of the Chirayu-Ayushman Bharat scheme on Tuesday.
Families with verified annual incomes above Rs 1.80 lakh can join by paying an annual premium.
Premiums are Rs 1,500 for incomes of Rs 1.80 lakh–Rs 3 lakh, Rs 4,000 for Rs 3 lakh–Rs 6 lakh, and Rs 5,000 above Rs 6 lakh.
Eligible families can receive free, cashless treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh per year at empanelled hospitals.
Registration and payment remain open until November 30, 2026; the new policy period runs from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027.
