New Carnac Bridge Reopens Next Week in Mumbai
A new bridge is almost ready to open in Mumbai!
It's called the Carnac Bridge and it replaces an old one that was taken down because it wasn't safe.
The new bridge will have more lanes for cars, helping traffic move better.
The project cost a lot of money, and they're putting up special stones from the old bridge to remember the past.
The bridge is between two train stations and makes it easier to get to different parts of the city.
New Carnac Bridge in Mumbai set to reopen early next week.
The steel bridge connects Masjid and CSMT stations, improving traffic to P'D Mello Road.
Six heritage stones from the original bridge will be restored.
The new bridge is 70 meters long, has four lanes, and cost ₹60 crore.
