Madhya Pradesh Schools to Host Aadhaar Camps for Students
Starting August 18, schools in Madhya Pradesh will host special events to help students get or update their Aadhaar cards.
The government is working with a special ID agency to make this happen.
These events will be in schools, making it easy for students to get their fingerprints, eye scans, and photos updated.
It's free to update these details when a child is five years old, and again when they are 15, but fees apply at other times.
A campaign to create and update Aadhaar cards for schoolchildren begins August 18.
The school education department is partnering with UIDAI for the campaign.
Camps for Aadhaar enrollment and updates will be held in schools.
The campaign is named 'Vidyarthi ke Liye Aadhaar, Ab Vidyalaya ke Dwar'.
Biometric updates, including fingerprints, iris scans, and photos, are part of the process.
