Air India CEO Updates Centre on Phuket-Delhi Altitude Loss Probe

Air India CEO Updates Centre on Phuket-Delhi Altitude Loss Probe

An Air India plane flying from Phuket to Delhi suddenly dropped in the sky, and a few people on board got hurt.

After that, the people in charge of keeping flying safe wanted to find out exactly what went wrong.

Air India's boss, Campbell Wilson, went to talk to the government officials who look after aviation to tell them how the investigation is going.

The government's aviation minister, Ram Mohan Naidu, said that safety is the most important thing and nothing should be allowed to risk it.

Some news reports said that one of the pilots tested positive for an illegal drug called marijuana.

The official investigators said people should not make up their minds before all the facts are carefully checked.

While the investigation is happening, both pilots of that flight are not allowed to fly.

The investigators are looking at the plane, its flight data, records and interviews to understand what caused the sudden drop.

They want to use what they learn to stop something like this from happening again.
