Turkey's Support of Bangladeshi Group Concerns India

Turkey's Support of Bangladeshi Group Concerns India

Turkey is allegedly funding and supporting a Bangladeshi Islamist group, Jamaat-e-Islami, which concerns India.

Turkey has reportedly helped Jamaat-e-Islami with money, including renovating their office.

Turkish officials have also allegedly arranged visits for Bangladeshi leaders to arms factories.

India fears that Turkey's actions may radicalize people and support cross-border terrorism.

It's suspected that Turkey is helping the Arakan Army, a group near India's border.

Intelligence sources suggest Turkey, Pakistan's ISI, and Jamaat-e-Islami are allied to destabilize India.

Jamaat-e-Islami was previously banned and now re-entered politics in Bangladesh.

This alliance could lead to more terrorism in the region.
