Vice President Radhakrishnan Praises NEP 2020 Flexibility at JSS AHER Convocation
India's Vice President, C. P. Radhakrishnan, went to a big graduation ceremony in Mysuru.
He told the students graduating from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research that the new education rules, called NEP 2020, are really good because they let students learn many different things and change as needed.
He told them to always try their best, like the wise man Swami Vivekananda said, 'Keep going until you reach your goal!'
The Vice President also reminded them that the best treasure in life is knowledge.
He encouraged them to be disciplined with social media and to be good citizens who help build India.
A total of 2,925 students got their degrees, and 16 students won gold medals for doing extra well in their studies.
Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan praised the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for its flexibility and interdisciplinary learning at the JSS AHER convocation.
He urged 2,925 graduating students to be consistent, set personal goals, and persevere to contribute to 'Viksit Bharat 2047'.
Radhakrishnan emphasized that 'Knowledge is the real wealth' and encouraged graduates to inspire future generations.
He advised the graduates on the judicious use of social media and the importance of self-discipline and respect for parents.
Sixteen Gold Medallists were felicitated, and degrees, diplomas, and fellowships were awarded during the ceremony.
