Bhopal’s municipal corporation is creating a team to inspect a modern slaughterhouse.

The team includes revenue officials, veterinarians and animal-disease specialists.

They will check what is stored inside and whether the animal products are usable.

Officials will record the inspection on video.

Spoiled items will be destroyed.

Usable items will be handled according to directions from the state and city authorities.

The court also ordered officials to stop the ammonia plant after the items are removed.

Separately, the High Court refused a request to permanently close the slaughterhouse because it was already operating and had received required permissions.
