Telangana DGP Pushes for Cyber Security Improvements

Telangana DGP Pushes for Cyber Security Improvements

The Director General of Police in Telangana, C.V. Anand, has asked all police officers to work harder on improving the state's cyber security.

Right now, Telangana is ranked 15th in the country for cyber security.

The DGP wants the state to be at the top.

He also talked about the need to use technology to fight cybercrime better.

The police reviewed how well they are doing with things like e-Zero FIR and the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS).

The DGP was happy that the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TCSB) and T-SPARK registered nearly 20 e-Zero FIRs in just two days.

He also said the police need to do more to teach people about cyber safety and use the CCTNS system better for investigations.
