Congress Names Aradhana Mishra to Ease Ties With Samajwadi Party

The Congress party has chosen Aradhana Mishra to lead its group in Uttar Pradesh.

She said the Congress and Samajwadi Party should work together in the INDIA alliance.

Their alliance won 43 seats in the state in the 2024 national election, according to the article.

Mishra is hopeful about the 2027 state election.

Congress has also appointed Imran Masood as working president.

The parties still need to agree on how many seats each will contest.
