Indian IT Shares Rebound on US Rate Cut Hopes, Market Gains
Imagine the stock market as a game.
After losing for a few days, it had a good day on Monday!
Companies that do IT work, especially those that do business in the US, had a good day, because everyone thinks the US might lower interest rates soon.
The overall market did well, with big companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and TCS leading the way.
This caused the Sensex and Nifty 50 to have a good day, too.
This news is very helpful because investors are earning more.
Indian IT shares rebounded after a three-day losing streak on Monday.
The BSE IT index gained amid a rally in the benchmark indices.
Sensex closed up 555 points, or 0.70%, at 80,364.49.
Nifty 50 ended at 24,625.05, up 198 points, or 0.81%.
The recovery was fueled by hopes of a US Federal Reserve rate cut.
