Hindu Monk to be Questioned in Bangladesh Cases
A Hindu monk named Chinmoy Krishna Das is going to be questioned by police in Bangladesh about two cases.
One case is about sedition, which means he is accused of disrespecting his country's flag.
The other case is about the murder of a lawyer.
The court has allowed police to question him at the jail.
This happened after he was granted bail earlier in a sedition case, but the government appealed to stop his release.
He is also involved in other cases relating to violent clashes that occurred at a court in Chattogram on November 26, 2024, when a lawyer was killed.
Over 2,000 people were involved in those clashes.
A court granted a two-day remand for Chinmoy Krishna Das.
He will be questioned in two cases: sedition and the murder of a lawyer.
Das was previously granted bail in a sedition case, but his release was delayed.
The interrogation will take place at the jail gate.
The cases relate to violent clashes on November 26, 2024, in Chattogram.
