1987 Hashish Haul: Mumbai Drug Case Revisited
Back in 1987, the police discovered a big shipment of drugs hidden in Mumbai.
The drugs, called hashish, were packed inside drums labeled as 'mango chutney' to be sent to London.
The police seized a massive amount, over 4,000 kilograms!
After a long investigation and trial, some people were found not guilty.
However, in 2024, one person involved in the drug smuggling was convicted and sent to prison for a long time.
