Utpanna Ekadashi 2025: Auspicious Times and Worship Rituals for Lord Vishnu Blessings
On a special day called Utpanna Ekadashi in the month of Margashirsha, people fast and worship Lord Vishnu and Goddess Ekadashi.
This is done to get good blessings, like happiness and to be forgiven for mistakes.
It's important to pray during special lucky times and avoid a time called Rahukaal, which is thought to be unlucky for prayers.
During the worship, people offer yellow flowers and sandalwood to Lord Vishnu, and Tulsi leaves, but they can't pick Tulsi on the actual day.
Some people also recite special prayers called Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra.
Doing these things carefully is believed to bring good fortune.
Utpanna Ekadashi is observed in the Margashirsha month, honoring Lord Vishnu and Goddess Ekadashi.
Observing the fast and puja is believed to grant blessings, peace, happiness, and potentially salvation.
It is advised to avoid performing worship or auspicious activities during Rahukaal (9:25 am - 10:45 am).
Auspicious times for worship include Abhijit Muhurat, Vijay Muhurat, and Godhuli Muhurat.
Offerings to Lord Vishnu include yellow sandalwood, yellow flowers, and Tulsi leaves (plucked a day in advance), and reciting Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra is recommended.
